Leura
Leura lies in the Blue Mountains and is one of a series of small towns stretched along the western railway
and Great Western Highway which bisects the Blue Mountains National Park. Located adjacent to Katoomba, the charming town is fashioned with picturesque streets, beautiful gardens, Victorian verandas and Art Deco houses built using contemporary architecture. Things to See and Do
The centre of Leura is lined with trees giving it a unique feel with the many country stores and cafes around the area providing plenty for tourists to do. Other places of interest in Leura include the Leuralla mansion with its fine art collection, the famously landscaped Everglades Gardens, the cliff-top lookout at Sublime Point and Gordon Falls Reserve which is a popular spot for picnics or walks around the cliff.
Getting to Leura
Train services are scheduled frequently which run from Sydney's Central Station to Leura. Regular services are also scheduled to and from Katoomba.
