Melbourne's architectural centrepiece is Federation Square, the city's hub that connects it with the Yarra River and a gathering place for the Melbourne's locals and visitors alike. Cultural events are scheduled here regularly with art works on display at the Ian Potter Centre as well as historical film, TV and digital media at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image. Further down the Yarra River is Birrarung Marr, a park where the Federation Bells can be heard chiming with the blowing winds.
