Clovelly Bay makes use of concrete platforms on either side of its channel-like formation with steps that lead into deep water. Rocks at the far end keep waves out of the sheltered bay which is popular with lap-swimmers and snorkelers looking to get a glimpse of some blue groper fish. Snorkels are available for rent up the road near Clovelly. Also in the area is a free swimming pool, a grassy park and a popular cafe. Those who have reached Clovelly Bay by walking south from Bondi Beach can continue their walk along Cliffbrook Parade past Gordons Bay and Dunningham Reserve to Coogee Beach.
