Brisbane's historical City Hall was built in the 1930s and consists of a splendid building that overlooks the sculptures and fountains of King George Square. A platform at the top of the building provides spectacular views of the surrounding city. On the ground floor of the City Hall is the Museum of Brisbane with displays on the city's history as well as a collection of art, crafts and photography.
