Bondi Beach
Bondi Beach is a spectacular mile-long sandy crescent that is perhaps one of the best known beaches in the world and a gathering place for international backpackers and surfers. Shops and cafes line the busy beachfront Campbell Parade while surrounding the beach are trademark red-tiles houses and apartment buildings, many of which were built in the 1920s. Visitors should take the scenic walk from Bondi Beach south to Tamarama and Bronte and, if your feet are up to it, all the way down to Clovelly Bay and Coogee. See our detailed Bondi Beach map.
