Ballarat Wildlife Park

With over 400 species of reptiles, cuddly baby koalas and a variety of other native animals, the Ballarat Wildlife Park is the ideal place to get up close and personal with the wildlife of Australia.

Get a photo of yourself holding a cute koala, barbeque your own lunch and enjoy special animal shows throughout the day.

The Ballarat Wildlife Park features a picnic area where parents can rest and children can play after a long day of enjoying the wildlife exhibits.

The park also hosts several conservation projects which are aimed at preserving the natural habitats of many local animals and encouraging rare species to breed.

Also on offer are special educational sessions for school students where free worksheets are even provided for schools to help increase environmental awareness.

By visiting the Ballarat Wildlife Park, not only are you getting a fascinating wildlife experience, you can also help preserve the environment. It's a park where adults and children alike can enjoy close encounters with their favourite animals while helping them out at the same time.
