Alice Springs Desert Park lies at the foot of the MacDonnell Ranges just outside Alice Spring's town centre.

The park provides visitors with interesting lessons on the key habitats of the central Australian environment ranging from sand, woodlands and desert river ecologies with a focus on the relationship of the Aboriginal people with the land.

There's plenty of wildlife on display here out in the open as well as in the exhibits that include the aquarium and nocturnal house.
